Subject had a very vivid dream about a complete rehaul of the website. Subject acted on it immediately, spending 9 hours straight at subject's laptop doing completely optional coding. Subject had fun :)
Happy! Happy happy happy. I don't know why but making this little website is giving me a lot of happiness. It's kind of taking over my every thought as most obsessions do, so I'm kind of scared for in two weeks when I completely forget about this lol, but I'm at least happy for while its lasting. But yes, I had a dream about this point and click website, and realised it's not actually hard and stepping into the terrifyingness of javascript is kind of worth it. Like at that point, it was quite literally -> open ipad. photobash cool background. upload it as background in html website. make invisible boxes over the items. extremely simple logic of "if box click -> then go different page" VERRYYY ooga booga things it was a good first project. Originally this website was like a very stereotypical y2k glittery blue emo website with floating headphones and a 3ds that played music (i was so proud of that) but like... I got that from browsing other neocities man. That wasn't *my* childhood, that was these other people's. Mine was on coolmathgames sorting by escape rooms and playing all of those in 'computer class' after finishing all of my work in like 20 seconds for the sole purpose of playing these games. So why not play into that? It would mean a lot more, obviously.
So yeah that's what I did. Cool right? I hope it's fun to navigate, even though you could probably only find it all out on desktop. The only people reading this are my loser friends (highly unlikely anyway I doubt you guys are willing to see how this site updates lmao) so im sorry that you have to put the phone down.
